Twelve Days of Christmas.

Well. 12 Days till Christmas Day! Wow, that was a fast month. I suppose it's always quick do to the hectic nature of it. Everyone has just a few more extra jobs to get done, a bundle of Christmas shows or Panto's to attend... not to even mention the gift buying. At the Bistro we don't get much time to do anything other than keep you guys fed and watered throughout our Christmas Lunch and Dinner period. So it really is a super quick month for us. We still have a few spaces left for our Christmas Lunches and (less so) Dinners. So get in touch today to find out if we can fit you and your group in.

here are our most favoured items from our Christmas Lunch and Dinner Menu. 

Number 12:
Starter: Festive Seasonal Melon (V)(GF)
Trio of melon laced with a Malibu and citrus sauce with a  
mango sorbet.

Number 11:
Main: Sea BreAm Cartoccio (GF)
Plump fillet of scotch sea bream steamed in a foil bag with king prawns, rosemary and lemon butter.

Number 10:
Starter: Cream of chicken and Mushroom Soup
Cream of Chicken and Mushroom soup served with rustic 
Italian bread.

Number 9:
Starter: Potato Croquettes (V)
Fluffy mashed potato filled with butter glazed onions and mature cheddar cheese. Served with a sweet red pepper and tomato sauce.

Number 8:
Main: Wiltshire baked ham
Wiltshire baked ham butter mash potatoes and glazed savoy cabbage with a  honey mustard sauce.

Number 7:
Dessert: Homemade Cheesecake
Strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake with fresh strawberry coulis and Chantilly cream and white chocolate sauce.



Number 6:
Main: Vegetable Stroganoff (V)
Selection of winter vegetables with herbs, spices, French mustard and brandy. Finished in a cream sauce.

Number 5:
Starter: Chicken Satay Skewers
100% chicken breast marinated in our blend of spices served with a peanut style sauce.

Number 4:
Dessert: Chocolate fudge cake
Hot chocolate fudge cake topped with Equi’s vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce.

Number 3:
Starter: Bistro Pate
Chicken liver parfait made with herb spices/brandy served with sweet red onion chutney seasonal leaves and Scottish oatcakes.

Number 2:
Dessert: Traditional Christmas pudding
Christmas pudding with brandy sauce.

Main: Traditional roast turkey
Butter and thyme Roast crown of Ayrshire turkey sage and onion stuffing chipolatas goose fat roasted potatoes and a rich roast pan gravy.
